The process of getting the Somali Passport

The Somali Embassy in Washington DC facilitates getting new Somali passport or renewing expired passport.

Note: The Somali Embassy in Washington DC does not facilitate replacing lost passports and/or changing passport.

After successful application, passport processing takes around two months.

• Bring your American Passport, Green Card, State ID, and/or Driving License
• Fee: Payment of $430 money order addressed to: Embassy of Somalia.
